The Electric Tender for your Sailboat
Getting from anchorage to shore shouldn't be a chore. ROXEN replaces the bulky dinghy with a smarter, cleaner, quieter way to reach land.
Traditional dinghies demand space, fuel, and constant maintenance. ROXEN attaches to your stern or tows effortlessly behind you.
Always ready, always clean, always quiet.
Why sailors choose ROXEN
-
Lightweight design
At a fraction of the weight of traditional personal watercraft, ROXEN is easy to lift, attach to a stern rail, or tow. One person can handle it alone.
-
Use your battery
The ROXEN battery is a portable lithium pack that can be used as a power source on board, not just for the watercraft itself.
-
Electric simplicity
No fuel cans stowed below. No oil changes, no carb clogs, no fumes on deck. Charge overnight at the marina or via solar and leave the petrol smell ashore.
-
Minimal space required
ROXEN's design stows neatly on a stern platform, attaches on the davit, or tows behind your sailboat.
From anchor to shore in three steps
Step 1. Secure it at the stern
ROXEN attaches to your stern rail, davits, or rests on the swim platform, just like a traditional dinghy. At only 60 kg it can be handled by one person while keeping your cockpit and lines clear. Under sail it tows quietly behind or clips neatly to the stern.
Step 2. Arrive and go ashore
When you drop anchor, your ROXEN is ready. No pulling a cold engine in the dark. Step on, switch on, and you’re moving silently within seconds.
Step 3. Quiet rides, every time
ROXEN takes you to shore quickly and silently. No fuel, no fumes, no rowing against wind or tide. When you return, lift it to the stern and secure it. Recharge the battery overnight from shore power or your boat’s 12V or solar system.
Questions sailors ask us
Can I tow it behind my sailboat while underway?
Yes. ROXEN is designed with towing in mind. Its light weight creates minimal drag, and it tracks straight even at sailing speeds. A tow line attaches to the front and it follows cleanly behind.
Can I use the ROXEN battery to power things on my sailboat?
Yes. The ROXEN battery is a portable lithium pack that can be used as a power source on board, not just for the watercraft itself. With a compatible inverter it can run 12V and 230V devices, making it genuinely useful at anchor, on passage, or as backup.
How do I charge it on a boat without shore power?
ROXEN charges via a standard 230V connection, which most boats can supply from an inverter. It is compatible with 12V DC input, meaning you can charge from your boat's battery bank or solar system, just more slowly.
What happens if it rains or I fall off?
ROXEN is built for open water and fully rated for rain, spray and submersion. The electronics and battery are sealed to marine standards. If you fall off, the engine cuts automatically via a safety lanyard, which standard on all PWCs.
Can I attach it in the stern?
Yes, ROXEN has both a place for towing and attachment poins for davits. If you have a swimming platform it can easily be secured there aswell.
