Roxen Innovations AB has its office and production in Linköping and Stockholm, Sweden, with a growing dealer network across Europe.
Product and Performance
What is ROXEN?
The ROXEN is the world's lightest full-size electric jet ski, powered by a 22 kW motor and a 5.25 kWh removable battery. It's built for effortless fun and freedom on the water.
How much does the ROXEN cost?
The ROXEN starts at €17,900 (excl. VAT and shipping). Pricing may vary by market and dealer.
How much is an extra battery?
Every ROXEN comes with a battery. If you would like to purchase an extra battery, it costs €5,900 (excl. VAT and shipping). Pricing may vary by market and dealer.
What makes the ROXEN unique?
The ROXEN watercraft are up to four times lighter than any other jet ski on the market, thanks to advanced materials and battery innovation. The result is easier handling, longer range, and true zero-emission performance.
How fast does it go?
The ROXEN reaches speeds of up to 30 knots (approximately 55 km/h), delivering instant electric acceleration and smooth control.
How long can I ride on one charge?
Depending on water conditions and riding style, you can expect 60 to 90 minutes of ride time or up to 30 km (approximately 20 nautical miles) per charge.
How long does charging take?
Charging takes approx 2,5 to 3 hours using a standard 230V outlet.
Is the battery swappable?
Yes. The ROXEN battery is removable and swappable, allowing you to extend your ride with extra charged units.
How much does it weigh?
The hull weighs only 60 kg and the battery 33 kg, making the ROXEN the lightest electric jet ski on the market. It's easy to transport and launch without special equipment.
Is the ROXEN suitable for beginners?
Yes. There are no gears, no choke, and no pull-start. The app lets you set a speed limit before handing it over, so first-time riders get a safe, confidence-building experience. Most riders are comfortable and riding within minutes.
Transport and Storage
How do I transport the ROXEN?
The ROXEN hull weighs 60 kg and travels on a standard roof rack. The battery is removed and carried separately in the boot. No trailer, no boat ramp, and no marina required. Drive to any shoreline and launch directly from the water's edge.
Does the ROXEN fit on a roof rack?
Yes. In transport mode the ROXEN measures 2.49 x 1.15 x 0.65 m and sits securely on standard roof rack crossbars. Two people can load and unload it without mechanical assistance.
How do I store the ROXEN over winter?
Remove the battery and store it indoors at room temperature. The hull can be stored in a garage or covered outdoors. No engine flushing, no fuel draining, and no specialist service is needed before next season.
Electric Tender
Can the ROXEN be used as a yacht tender?
Yes. At 93 kg ready to run, the ROXEN can be launched by one or two crew members without a crane. It fits on a swim platform, in a toy garage, or on deck in a cradle. With a top speed of 30 knots it handles shore runs faster than any traditional tender, and the swappable battery means a spare can be kept charged onboard.
Can the ROXEN be used as a sailboat tender?
Yes. The ROXEN attaches to a stern rail, sits on a swim platform, or tows cleanly behind a sailboat at sailing speeds with minimal drag. It replaces the dinghy with a faster, quieter, and fuel-free alternative that one person can handle alone.
Does the ROXEN need a crane or davit to launch?
No. At 60 kg the hull can be lifted by two people without mechanical assistance. A crane or davit can be used if available, but is not required.
Use and Maintenance
Can I use the ROXEN in saltwater?
Yes. ROXEN watercraft are built with marine-grade materials for both saltwater and freshwater use. Rinse the craft with fresh water after saltwater rides.
What maintenance is required?
Electric watercraft need minimal maintenance. No oil changes or fuel system servicing. Simply rinse after use, clean the jet intake, and follow battery care instructions.
Is the ROXEN safe to use?
Yes. ROXEN includes smart safety features such as GPS tracking, geofencing, and over-the-air updates. Always wear a life jacket and follow local boating regulations.
Can I tow or ride with passengers?
For towing or multi-rider use, please refer to Roxen Innovations' specific product guidelines.
What are the environmental benefits?
ROXEN watercraft produce zero emissions, eliminate fuel spills, and drastically reduce noise, making them better for both the planet and your riding experience.
Technology and App
Does the ROXEN have an app?
Yes. The ROXEN app connects via 4G/LTE and gives you live speed, battery status, GPS position, and diagnostics. It also lets you set speed limits and geofence boundaries before a session, and receives over-the-air software updates.
What is geofencing and how does it work on the ROXEN?
Geofencing lets you draw a boundary on the map in the ROXEN app before a session. If the rider approaches the edge, the watercraft automatically slows and prevents them from crossing it. The rider's live GPS position is visible on your phone throughout the session.
Can I set a speed limit for other riders?
Yes. Before handing the ROXEN to another rider you can set a maximum speed limit directly in the app. The rider cannot override it from the watercraft. This is useful for beginners, younger riders, or rental operations where different customers need different settings.
Comparison
How does the ROXEN compare to a traditional jet ski?
A traditional petrol jet ski typically weighs 250 to 350 kg, requires a trailer, and needs regular engine servicing. The ROXEN weighs 93 kg ready to run, transports on a roof rack, and has no engine oil, spark plugs, or fuel system to maintain. Running costs are a fraction of a petrol model, approximately €1.80 per hour in electricity versus €25 to €30 in fuel.
Lakes and Restrictions
Can I ride the ROXEN on lakes where petrol engines are banned?
Yes. Because the ROXEN is fully electric it is permitted on many lakes and waterways that ban combustion engines, including Lake Königssee in Germany, Lake Annecy in France, and the Norwegian fjords Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord, which require zero-emission watercraft from 2026. Always verify local regulations before riding.
Is the ROXEN allowed in protected nature areas?
In many cases yes. Zero emissions and near-silent operation mean the ROXEN is welcome in areas where noise and pollution restrictions apply to petrol watercraft. Rules vary by location. Always check with the local authority before riding in a protected or restricted area.
Fleet and Rental
Can I manage multiple ROXENs from one app?
Yes. The Fleet Management feature in the ROXEN app lets operators monitor live GPS positions, set speed limits, and manage geofences for multiple units simultaneously from a phone or tablet on shore.
Is the ROXEN suitable for rental operations?
Yes. The combination of app-controlled speed limits, geofencing, swappable batteries, and near-zero running costs makes the ROXEN well suited to commercial rental. No fuel costs, fast turnaround between customers, and full remote control over where and how fast each craft is ridden. Contact us for fleet pricing and dealer terms.

When does it become binding?
Your pre-order becomes binding only after Roxen Innovations confirms availability and you sign a purchase agreement.
Can I transfer or cancel my pre-order?
Yes. Pre-orders can be transferred with Roxen Innovations' written approval or cancelled anytime for a full refund of your pre-order payment.
When will my ROXEN be delivered?
Estimated delivery dates are shared once production is scheduled. Unless otherwise agreed, Roxen Innovations ships under EX Works (EXW) terms.
Warranty and Support
What warranty does Roxen Innovations offer?
All ROXEN products include a 24-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. A mandatory service check-up after 12 months by Roxen Innovations or an authorized partner is required to maintain warranty validity.
Community and Sustainability
Does ROXEN have a rider community?
Yes. The ROXEN Riders Community connects owners, dealers, and ambassadors through demo events, meet-ups, and annual gatherings in Europe and the U.S.
How does Roxen Innovations promote sustainability?
Roxen Innovations' mission is to make water mobility emission-free. To the best of our ability we source materials locally in Sweden, delivering performance that's good for both people and the planet.
Licensing and Legal
Do I need a license to ride the ROXEN?
License requirements vary by country. Some regions require a PWC or boat license, while others do not. Always check your local maritime authority for details. Read more about licence here.
Where can I ride an electric jet ski?
You can ride ROXEN watercraft in most areas where traditional jet skis are allowed and often in more places, since electric models produce no emissions and minimal noise.
